Diego Recinos is the vet version of superhero- compassionate,caring and professional.He made a house call today to treat our 11-year old Cavalier,Kapono,and we were all chill while he worked his magic( even when it involved a prostate exam-yikes! )

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Diego (Recinos) and his wonderful vet tech, Tamia. I suspected one of my two kitties was sick and I was due to leave town for a trip. Not only did Dr. Diego fit in a house call last minute, but he and Tamia gave both of my (very spicy) kitties much needed check ups, vaccines, medications and nail clips. He's knowledgeable, gentle, caring, and organized. An absolute delight!

One of the saddest days of my life was made much gentler by the kindness of the vets from Marin City Animal Hospital. They were so kind and so professional. with my little doggo, explained everything thoroughly to me, brought a disgusting the snack for Lucky to chow down on-and boy did she ever love that cheez whiz!- And my little girl was warm and comfortable. She relaxed. In my arms, went to sleep and then she died, I cannot possibly say enough good things about this veterinary service. You won't regret having them take care of your most beloved pets. I am forever grateful to them.

Dr. Recinos saved the life of our sweet ginger cat. At five months old he was diagnosed with a fatal condition, but Diego tirelessly researched solutions and we were able to get him treatment. That kitty is now a happy, healthy 4-year-old. We will be forever grateful.

Dr. Recinos has cared for Finnley for a few years and has provided exceptional service. From general care to toxin exposure.Most recently, Finnley (my 3 y.o. high-energy German Shorthaired Pointer), ingested two small blocks of poison while we were in the country for the holidays. Without Dr. Recinos being there to talk me through step-by-step of exactly what to do, the outcome would have been fatal.No matter what Finnley’s managed to get himself into, Dr. Recinos been there with the best care, while remaining calm to support us during panic situations. That level of customer service is very hard to come by and why I trust MCAH.

Loki is my 14+ year old chihuahua mix. He was in desperate need of a good vet after we moved to California. So glad that we found Dr. Diego! Dr. Diego gave Loki a checkup, vaccinations, and some much needed dental work. He’s calm, caring, straightforward, and good at what he does. That means a lot to me and to Loki! Thank you!

Dr Recinos provides quality care to our pets. He is an excellent diagnostician, gives honest advice, and provides compassionate care. The staff is friendly and competent. The new facility is great - - spacious and well equipped. I especially like the monthly newsletters and birthday greetings. This clinic makes you feel like you’re family! Dr. Diego has been so kind and thorough in his treatment of my cat. He has given me multiple, detailed follow up calls and is very on top next steps. He’s more thorough than any doctor I’ve ever had. The prices here are also competitive for the area. Highly recommend!

Dr Recinos has been my veterinarian for over 2 years . He has seen more than 25 cats as I am in cat rescue . I love the fact that he is a good listener, problem solver and treats you with respect. He wants what is the best outcome for the animal and you feel it . I wish more vets were like him. He is also able to treat semi feral cats which is very important to me as I try to help all kinds of cats . Here is the last patient he treated and she has been adopted already .

I recently changed our vet to Marin City Animal Hospital. I took my cat and dog for their annual check-ups and shots and was impressed with how friendly their team is and how welcoming the feel of the place is. I also liked Dr. Diego's expertise, pragmatic approach and good explanations. I highly recommend them.

Dr Diego is compassionate, friendly, efficient, and effective! Brand new, crystal clean facility that was well thought out. I’ve used a different vet for over 10 years, and I’ve switched to Marin City Animal Hospital with Dr Diego and I’m not looking back. My past vet misdiagnosed an issue that caused a ruptured sore, and Dr Diego saw us on his day off to start the healing process! He’s exactly what south Marin needs.

I want to recommend this vet. We took our dog Brady for a checkup and wellness exam on Friday. Everyone was super nice and friendly… the person in the front desk, Dr. Diego and his assistant. We recently moved to Sausalito and wanted to look for a new vet in the area (our previous one was in SF) and it was an excellent choice!
