    Polo
    Kennel Assistant

I am a student currently making my way through the veterinarian technician program at the Santa Rosa Junior College. I am still unsure of where I'd like my career to go long term, as with vetmed their are so many paths to take and there is always more to learn, but I feel that being a certified RVT will give me a useful and desirable set of skills as I explore the field. I am grateful for the MCAH team giving me an opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge I experience.

Animals have always been at the center of my life. After spending 17 years in management within the pet food industry and a year in veterinary medicine, I was excited to continue my journey at Marin City Animal Hospital.

My experience allows me to support both our team and our clients with knowledge, empathy, and a strong commitment to animal wellness. At home, I'm a proud single parent with multiple pets, so I truly understand the joys-and challenges-of caring for furry family members.

    Arturo
    Veterinarian Technician

I was born and lived most of my life in Nicaragua, where I grew up on a farm surrounded by pets and wildlife. Since I was a child, I loved animals and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. I began my veterinary studies at a university in Nicaragua and started practicing with great dedication, helping the pets of low-income owners.

I am very passionate about exotic animals, especially reptiles, and I would like to obtain a specialty in exotic animal medicine in the future. Currently, I am working as a veterinary technician at MCAH, and my goal is to earn my veterinary license here in the United States.
