Job Description:
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, playing a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
About Us:
Marin City Animal Hospital is a new veterinary practice opening in Sausalito, CA, this September. We are excited to build a dedicated team that shares our passion for providing exceptional care to pets. We are looking for a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join us and help us create a welcoming environment for our clients and their beloved pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in clients and their pets with a warm and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently
- Process payments and manage client accounts
- Provide information to clients about our services, procedures, and products
- Handle client inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous manner
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with managing patient records and other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of veterinary medical terminology is a plus
- Proficiency with computer systems and office software
- Compassionate and attentive to the needs of both animals and their owners
